Forster FUEGO Light
fire-rated glazed steel
Fuego Light is the fire-rated system: slim steel profiles carrying fire-resistant glazing, for openings that need compartmentation without losing light or sightlines. It’s specified across doors, sliding doors, fixed screens and partitions.

EI 120 is achieved on fixed glazed screens; side-hung doors are classified to a maximum of EI 90. We’ll confirm the exact classification for your format and opening.
Forster UNICO
thermally broken steel
Unico is the thermal system: 100% steel with a full thermal break and no synthetic insulators, so an external steel-and-glass door or screen can carry an EI 30 fire rating and a genuinely low U-value at the same time. Specified across doors, windows, fixed glazing and lift-up sliding doors, internal and external.

Unico is classified to EI 30 / EW 30 — the thermal-break system for external steel-and-glass openings where a low U-value is required alongside fire performance.
Forster PRESTO

Presto is the commercial system: the same slim steel-and-glass language for premium interiors — lobbies, glazed atria and open-plan compartmentation — across swing doors, fixed screens and partitions. Primarily an interior system.

Presto is classified E and EW — integrity, and integrity with radiation control. It is not an EI-insulated system; where insulation (EI) is required, Fuego Light or Unico is the correct route. We’ll confirm the classification for your specification.
